The locals in New Jersey refer to this 127-mile stretch of sandy beaches as the Jersey Shore (not to be confused with the MTV-hit reality TV show). While most of the beaches have commercial boardwalks, residential areas, and amusement parks, this Jersey Shore trail guide will transport you to some less trafficked areas to enjoy on a weekend trip or summer getaway.
Vermont may be small in size and population, but it has a lot to offer. Vermont is often overlooked in comparison to iconic travel destinations such as the towering mountains of Utah and the dense forests of Wyoming. Nestled away in New England, Vermont is teeming with scenic views and picturesque landscapes. You’ll just have to see for yourself!
Maine is home to some of New England’s most charming coastal towns and scenic views that even the National Geographic would envy. If you have been itching to road trip to the Vacationland, look no further than this trail guide from Jordyn, a jersey gal who loves to get and explore deep forests and electric nightlife.
They don’t call it the Great Lakes for nothing, and Lake Superior is truly the greatest of them all. Pictured Rocks is the country’s first National Lakeshore and when you go there you won’t be surprised as to why. With over 50 miles of lakeshore, 100+ miles of trails, and 200’ cliffs, there’s no shortage of stunning nature. This is truly a spot you can come back to over and over with still more to explore!
Jaw-dropping beauty at every turn. Majestic trees, the bluest water, fresh pine in the air, and stunning weather make West Shore of Lake Tahoe one of our favorite places in the world. Keep your eyes peels because at any moment a brown bear might cross your path (don’t feed the bears).
If you are an ultimate powder hound, love ramen and sushi, and find the Aussie accent appealing, then book your next flight to Niseko, Japan. It puked about 10 inches of powder each night, making for some amazing skiing each day. Warning, fog central as you are pretty much at sea level, so make sure you pack those different lenses so you can swap out easily as it goes from fog to sun to fog.
