ROVM the Earth

ROVMERS,

Welcome to ROVM. We brew hard kombucha inspired by our love of getting outside and sharing adventures with friends and family. We aren’t climate experts or scientists (but if YOU are one, we would love to have you share what you do) but we have been paying attention the last few decades to what’s been happening. We have seen some of our favorite places become polluted with trash, our treasured powder days slowly get rockier and the streams that use to have fish jumping into our nets, we now have to cast a bit further out.

Our first passion is making sure we deliver amazing booch fit for you to proudly share with friends. The second is doing our best to educate ourselves on how we can “leave no trace” and do as little harm as possible with our brew, packaging, and business processes.

We know we aren’t going to be perfect, but we are going to make a commitment to always learn and evolve, engage and share the voices of experts who know what the hell they are doing, and make changes as frequently as we can to help reduce our carbon footprint and eliminate waste.

If you have any other ideas or ways we can get you involved, please reach out. Otherwise, a few of our favorite organizations who are doing a real good job that you can follow, get involved and/or donate to:

  • Protect Our Winters | POW helps passionate outdoor people protect the places and lifestyles they love from climate change. We are a community of athletes, scientists, creatives, and business leaders advancing non-partisan policies that protect our world today and for future generations.

  • Surfrider Foundation | The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network.

  • The Mountaineers | We are a community built around passion for the outdoors. For over 100 years, our volunteers have been teaching skills, sharing adventures, creating volunteers, and conserving land. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit our mission is to enrich the community by helping people explore, conserve, learn about, and enjoy the lands and waters of the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

  • Environmental Health News | We are a publication of Environmental Health Sciences, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to driving science into public discussion and policy on environmental health issues, including climate change.
